 Chiropractor

I continue to learn new techniques to enable me to adapt the treatment you receive.

Georgie Baker

My name is Georgie Baker, and I am a registered McTimoney chiropractor with a practice in Salisbury.

I combine this gentle chiropractic approach with other treatment methods, including Koren Specific Technique (KST), Craniosacral techniques (CST), and massage, with the aim of reducing restrictions within the body and promoting balance and symmetry. This can help maintain good posture, promote health and improve performance.

Many people who undergo chiropractic care can report benefits from joint pains, back pain, sciatica, generalised aches and pains, muscle spasms and headaches arising from the neck.

Chiropractic care is not just limited to the spine. Many people also find it helpful for shoulder complaints, including shoulder dysfunction and pain, rotator cuff injuries or disorders, elbow pain and tennis elbow arising from associated musculoskeletal conditions of the neck and back, minor sports injuries and tensions.

I initially qualified as a registered general nurse and used this skill in the NHS for many years. This led to a strong interest in the maintenance of positive health with subsequent qualifications in natural therapies, including massage. I qualified as a McTimoney chiropractor in 2001, attracted by the whole-body approach of this technique, which aims to improve the alignment of the skeleton, thereby helping the nervous system to work more efficiently.
